スケルトン状態となった工事中のつくばセンタービルでの展示作品。
スクリーン手前の衝立状の形態は、センタービルで使われていた照明カバーを再利用している。
磯崎新によって設計されたセンター広場は、イタリアのカンピリオド広場を裏返しに再現されている。
ここには、別の時代、別の場所（過去と外国）からよく知られた建築の例を取り上げ、それを模倣し、現実の場所のコンテクストと必然的な関係を全く持たせないようにするという方法 をとるポストモダニズムの「視覚引用」の態度が現れているそうだ。
工事中のセンタービル内に、センター広場中央にある噴水の映像を投影し、その噴水と同じ位置にあるカンピリオド広場中央のマルクス・アウレリウス騎馬像のシルエットが切り抜かれた衝立状の彫刻作品を重ねている。
磯崎が引用した広場を、今度はカンピリオド広場越しにつくばセンター広場中央の噴水を見る。
コンテクストのない２つの広場が、センタービルで用いられてきた資材を通して、再び結び付けられる。

《From the center of the plaza》

This work was exhibited in the skeleton state of the Tsukuba Center Building under construction.
The impulse form in front of the screen is a reused lighting cover from the Center Building.
The center square, designed by Arata Isozaki, is an inverted reproduction of the Campigliodo square in Italy.
Here, the postmodernist attitude of “visual citation” is apparent, which is a method of taking well-known examples of architecture from another time and place (past and foreign), imitating them, and avoiding any inevitable relationship to the context of the actual place. It is said to be an expression of postmodernism’s “visual citation.
In the Center Building under construction, I projected an image of the fountain in the center of the Center Plaza, and superimposed a sculpture in the form of an impulse cut out of the silhouette of the equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius in the center of Campiglione Square, which is in the same position as the fountain.
The plaza cited by Isozaki is now viewed through Campigliodo Square to the fountain in the center of Tsukuba Center Plaza.
The two uncontextualized plazas are reconnected through the materials used in the Center Building.
